Ilene Rubenstein started as a competitive athlete in gymnastics that led to her involvement in many different sports. She became a massage therapist in 1984 with a focus in deep tissue work for sports recovery. She received a BS in human biology and doctor of chiropractic in 1995. She has owned and operated a Dance/Pilates studio for over 13 years. As a Pilate’s educator and instructor, she has specialized incorporating functional movement with chiropractic and clinical nutrition. Her recent passion is in neurological impairment affecting the inability to fully recover from injury or disease process. She is passionate about cooking especially with fresh market food, playing in nature with her dog and great adventures with travel.
