Dr. Sharon Ufberg hosts Alive and Kicking on NPR’s 51% radio. She is the health and wellness editor for Napa Valley Life Magazine and currently blogs and posts articles, interviews and commentary for Huffington Post, WomenEnews, Womens Media Center, Genders Across Borders, IntegrativePractitioner.com amongst others.
As a senior health practitioner, Dr. Ufberg has over 30 years in private practice as a chiropractor and integrative health doctor. She is an advocate to empower women and men to take responsibility for their own health care and wellness.
Dr. Ufberg is co-founder of Elevate, a series of powerful events around the U.S. and beyond for women in their 20’s and 30’s that focuses on integrating 3 key elements: personal and professional development, health and wellness, and philanthropy. Elevate will give participants a truly integrative vehicle to access their vision, embrace their vitality, stand in their aligned and vibrant power, and the impetus to give back.
Dr. Ufberg is a seasoned international leader and activist in the areas of women’s health and safety, economic self sufficiency, domestic violence and human trafficking. She is a delegate to the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women.
